Each year, MoMu issues an award to one of the latest Fashion graduates from the Antwerp Royal Academy of Fine Arts. This year, the award was given to Annemarie Saric, for her women's collection ‘Luxus Für Alle’.

A very special garment has made its way into the MoMu Collection, thanks to Annick Vandecappelle. The personal tale behind this object will be preserved as ‘oral history’ in the museum.

During the renovation of its own premises, MoMu is sticking to its promise to inspire elsewhere. A collection item has been sent to Palais Galliera, which launched its new exhibition ‘Gabrielle Chanel. Fashion Manifesto’.

MoMu will reopen during the weekend of 4 and 5 September 2021. Exciting times, not least for the team from B-architecten, the renowned Belgian architectural firm that was responsible for the renovation.
