With LOOKS, LOOKS, LOOKS, MoMu offers an insight into the practice of the Fashion Department of the Royal Academy of Fine Arts Antwerp. The exhibition shows silhouettes of student work alongside graphic material such as sketchbooks and drawings, revealing the process behind the finished result.

From initial idea to realised garment, LOOKS, LOOKS, LOOKS traces how students are guided in shaping, articulating and refining their own artistic identity. The exhibition immerses visitors in the vision of a new generation of designers, highlighting the complexity and richness they bring to fashion. The Fashion Department of the Royal Academy of Fine Arts Antwerp continues to foster a rigorous and considered approach to cut, craftsmanship and garment detail, where artistic vision and an in-depth understanding of clothing are in constant dialogue.

LOOKS, LOOKS, LOOKS brings together an abundance of fashion and creativity. The presentation reveals the strength of our students and the intensity of the department. By integrating images of the studio and the students into the scenography, the focus shifts to the people and the environment where the work comes into being.
Since 2002, MoMu and the Fashion Department have been housed under one roof: the ModeNatie. This physical proximity ensures an ongoing cross-pollination between fashion heritage and young talent, a dynamic that becomes tangible in this exhibition.
