GIRLS. On boredom, Rebellion and being in between

Discover our temporary exhibition GIRLS. On Boredom, Rebellion and Being In-Between with a MoMu guide who shows you more than what you see! This exhibition is about girls, but is inspiring for everyone. Together with the guide you will explore girlhood and the beautiful, complex and emotional journey of growing up. We dream about who we want to be when we grow up.

What does it mean to be a girl? What does girlhood mean, and how does the idea of “the girl” continue to shape our visual culture and fashion? This exhibition offers an intimate look at girls' lives: from their clothing, identity and rebelliousness to how artists and designers look back on their own childhoods through photographs, fashion, art and film.
