Museum Night 2026

Museum Night is turning 20, and we're celebrating in style. On Saturday, 1 August, more than 30 museums and cultural venues across Antwerp will keep their doors open late for a city-wide night of art, culture, and creativity.

For this special anniversary edition, the programme has been curated by MoMu Young Voices, MoMu's youth programme. Bringing together young people with a passion for fashion, art and creativity, Young Voices offers a platform to experiment, collaborate and showcase emerging talent.

Expect inspiring workshops, one-of-a-kind performances, and fresh creative perspectives throughout the evening. MoMu's exhibitions and MoMu Café will also remain open late, giving you plenty of time to experience everything the museum has to offer.

In 2026, MoMu celebrates the 40th anniversary of the Antwerp Six's international breakthrough with the major exhibition The Antwerp Six. For the first time, an official exhibition is dedicated to these six iconic designers.

You can also discover the work of students from the Antwerp Fashion Department in the new exhibition LOOKS, LOOKS, LOOKS. MoMu's collection presentation will be open throughout the evening as well.

Take inspiration from the exhibition The Antwerp Six and, just like these six iconic fashion designers, create your own invitation on fabric. Using stencils and patterns specially developed by MoMu Young Voices, you'll design a one-of-a-kind piece in your own style.

Pull up a chair, get creative, and connect with others. MoMu Young Voices will guide you every step of the way. Take your creation home with you, or leave it behind and exchange it for someone else's design.

The Antwerp Six once began as young, bold creatives with big dreams. Today, MoMu Young Voices is also filled with emerging creative talent. Several members will take you into their own creative worlds. Through short interludes of poetry and music, they share their personal voices, dreams, and passions.

Relive the 1980s at MoMu and immerse yourself in the underground scene that shaped the career of the Antwerp Six. MoMu Young Voices bring the soundtrack of the era to life with a carefully curated playlist featuring post-punk, new wave and eclectic sounds.
