In his new publication Torn: Fashion and Postmodernism, Rabkin offers a critical reflection on the evolution of fashion over the past twenty-five years, examining the impact of postmodern thinking on creativity, authorship and the fashion industry today.
To celebrate the launch at MoMu, Eugene Rabkin will sign copies in the MoMu Café. The book will be available for purchase throughout the event, while An Vandevorst will play an exclusive DJ set.

About the author
Eugene Rabkin is a renowned fashion journalist and critic. He is the founder and editor of StyleZeitgeist, an independent fashion media platform celebrating its 20th anniversary in September 2026, and the host of the eponymous podcast.
His work has appeared in The New York Times, Financial Times, The Business of Fashion, T Magazine China, Air Mail, and 032c, among others. He is the editor of Stone Island: Storia (Rizzoli) and Deborah Turbeville: Comme des Garçons (IDEA), and a contributor to several other books. He teaches a course in Contemporary Fashion at Parsons School of Design. He lives in New York.
