REVERSE: Open Call

MoMu, together with community builder Alex Akuete, invites young people with a passion for fashion to share and further grow their creativity. Through REVERSE, participants get the chance to present and refine their own designs and ideas about fashion, guided by a team of experienced fashion professionals.

You are invited to submit a video in which you show your selfmade clothing and tell us what fashion means to you. If selected, you’ll work on a complete look and continue developing your creative skills throughout the programme.

This project approaches fashion as a collective and multilayered art form, bringing together music, performance, make-up, styling, photography, scenography, and light and sound design. The programme culminates in a final event on 17 April 2026, where you will present your creations and experiences to the public in an inspiring fashion show.

REVERSE is a project by MoMu in collaboration with Alex Akuete, with the support of EventFlanders.

• You are between 16 and 25 years old and live in Antwerp.
• Register before 18 February 2026 using the following form.
• Submit a video before 18 February 2026 via the same form.
  • Show your design sketches or selfmade clothing and tell us who you are and what fashion means to you.
  • The video is 2 to 4 minutes long.
  • Your personal story matters more than a professional edit. Filming with your smartphone or camera is perfectly fine.

• You will be notified by 25 February 2026 if you are selected.

• Keep 27 February 2026 free for a first portrait moment at MoMu.
• Create a new design and a complete look during workshops at MoMu and hetpaleis, guided by fashion experts, on 3, 7, 8, 14, 21 and 29 March 2026.
• Present your final creation during a fashion show in MoMu on 17 April 2026.
• Meet fashion professionals and talk with them on 26 April 2026.
