Did you know that Dirk Van Saene, one of the famous Antwerp Six, creates beautiful art as well as fashion? His works express feelings such as hope, sadness, and longing—sometimes hidden behind beautiful costumes and patterns.
In this workshop, we will get to work ourselves and discover emotions in art. We will look at examples of Van Saene's sculptures and paintings. How can you express feelings in shapes and colors? We will design our own figure and dress it with fabrics, checkered patterns, buttons, and other materials. Just like Van Saene, you will combine fashion and art! We use paint, collage techniques, and accessories to bring your artwork to life.
At the end, you will have a stylish sculpture bursting with emotion!
