Antwerp.Fashion Festival: Florentina Leitner

In June Antwerp will become a stage for fashion. The new Antwerp.Fashion Festival will take over the city for four days with shows and presentations, installations and windows, exhibitions, talks and events – featuring both established fashion brands and a new generation of designers. On this occasion, Florentina Leitner will present her Fall-Winter 2026-27 collection You Are a Star in the MoMu Shop from 2 to 6 June.

Belgian-Austrian designer Florentina Leitner obtained her Master’s degree from the Fashion Department of the Royal Academy of Fine Arts Antwerp in 2020, and launched her eponymous label in 2021-22. Her collections stand out through a playful yet refined aesthetic, where innovative textile techniques, sculptural 3D flowers and striking accessories come together in a contemporary and distinctive signature.

You Are a Star explores transformation, ambition, and resilience, from the nerdy outsider to the modern princess. Inspired by The Princess Diaries and Sex and the City, it blurs the boundary between private and public. Nightwear becomes visible, while dreamy details and symbols of recognition celebrate growth, perseverance, and claiming your place.

Antwerp.Fashion Festival is organised by Flanders District of Creativity and the city of Antwerp, in partnership with MoMu - Fashion Museum Antwerp and with the support of EventFlanders.
