MoMu Dream Visit: Azzedine Alaïa

A unique voyage through the temporary exhibition for kindergarten and primary education.

Visitor information

It is not so much the content that is at the heart of our 'Dream Visit', but the experience: learning to look and using your imagination, while focussing on materials and colours. Through play, we will explore the various garments and themes from the exhibition and the pupils will be invited to reflect, draw and actively participate.

MoMu highlights the practice and passion of fashion designer Azzedine Alaïa, uniting his designs, work process, and a selection of garments by the great masters of cut from his extensive collection.

A master couturier, Azzedine Alaïa loved to study closely the techniques of the great masters of the past in a quest for knowledge that never opposed him to them, but incited him to surpass himself. A discerning collector, he assembled a collection that reflected this passion, one that combines the art of cutting, patternmaking and creativity.
