Buying clothes, buying, buying.

They pile up.

Forgotten.

What happens to clothes when we stop wearing them?

12 OKAN students from Heilig Hart Sint-Willibrordus set to work on their own garments.

Focusing on the theme of “identity & clothing”, they drew inspiration from the MoMu Study Collection. In this way, the museum served as a source of inspiration for an entirely new final product.

Together with costume designer Charlotte Hannes, they explored how clothing can be repaired, altered, and revalued. The creative process - centered on sustainability and identity - was captured in a short film by filmmaker Zoé Juprille and director Nina Moortgat.
