Sylvie Kreusch will take over the iconic stairwell with an exclusive concert in an intimate duo-setting and featuring Benjamin Abel Meirhaeghe as supporting act. With this performance, MoMu aims to compensate the earlier ban on late-night openings due to coronavirus. Thus ensuring that the season still ends with a bang.
LINEUP
SYLVIE KREUSCH
Sylvie Kreusch came into the spotlight when she won Studio Brussels' De Nieuwe Lichting in 2012 with her school band Soldier's Heart. She has since created a commotion with Warhaus, the project featuring Balthazar's Maarten Devoldere.
Her solo artist debut 'Seedy Tricks' (2018) quickly captured people's hearts and attention.
Following her EPs ‘BADA BING! BADA BOOM! and ‘Wild Love’, there is no doubting her artistic vision in the album ‘Montbray’ (2021). She is nominated this year for 4 MIA’s (best album, alternative, female solo and artwork).
BENJAMIN ABEL MEIRHAEGHE
When creating MoMu's opening exhibition E/MOTION, the countertenor, performer and opera director Benjamin Abel Meirhaeghe tailored the personal tales of fashion students and designers into a series of pop-up performances. This time Meirhaeghe is teaming up with producer Laurens Mariën for an electronic concert that fluctuates between a show and a love ritual.
