Taking our inspiration from the techniques seen on a jacket by Dries Van Noten in the 'Collection presentation', we will embroider a motif with gold thread and sequins on silk.

Kenny Damian is a textile restorer and freelance embroiderer. She has studied a variety of hand-stitching techniques, such as Aari embroidery, Kutch (India) embroidery, gold and bead embroidery and needle lace. She has learned these techniques and skills from other embroiders and by attending various courses both locally and abroad. She applies the techniques individually or in combination, and in both contemporary and historic designs.

Not only do I think it is important to keep the objects, I also believe we should preserve the knowledge and various techniques involved
